Let's see some movement pics everyone!!!

I have always loved watches with visible movements, so much that I even put a sapphire case back on my sub c LN, I know the movement is nothing special so it might be considered stupid, but it was nice to look at from time to time.

I have fallen in love with the 5712, and probably 50% of that love is due to the beautiful movement, I am more than sure that when I will have it I will be looking for a few hours a week at the movement with tears in my eyes If the 5712 didn't have a see through case back I am sure I wouldn't have ordered it.

There are a few older Nautilus without the see through and even if they are nice it just doesn't do it for me.

Of course the most beautiful movements are usually the ones of hand wound watches, but it's most of the time very expensive pieces.

After getting my 5712, maybe in 1-2 years, I am thinking of getting either a 5167 SS on tropical strap, and once again 50% of the interest is the beautiful movement, if not the Aquanaut then probably an Audemars Piguet RO, and guess what? Again for a big part due to the movement of both these watches.

I am trimming down seriously my collection, sold my sub LN today, am selling my 3 Pams, even if they are out of production for 1 and limited editions for 2, also selling my Daytona 116515, and my incoming Blancpain.

So once all of them are sold and I have gotten my Hulk and 5712, both are ordered, I will be a 3 watch man, keeping the Rolex BLNR that I already have, and probably later go up to 4 with the addition of the Aquanaut or the AP RO.

So please show me some pics of your beautiful PP or other brands movements, I think it will be a pleasure to see for all who like me enjoy so much to see those beautiful works of art, we always see the front of the watches but almost never the rear.

For my part I can only put a pic of the movement of my Pam 233, my Blancpain arriving in a few days and my other watches having solid case backs, it's not the most beautiful movement but still nicer than a piece a steel.

Can't wait to see those pics

Both have beautiful movements, I am hesitating after having my Hulk and PP 5712, between the Aquanaut and the AP RO, mostly because it's my 2 favorite automatic movements to look at, but it seems to me that the PP has a little advantage on the AP...

Now that's what I consider a real form of art, I could look at these in real for hours, not the case with a painting or sculpture...

Don't own a PP yet, but I love the Jumbo's 2121 movement.
