Yes. Especially for posting it in the wrong sub-forum!

If I had never bought my Invicta 8926, I probably would have never bought my first Rolex, so there is a place for Invictas in this world. That place is just not on my wrist.
Quick, put a Rolex in that post.

I bought one of those to beat up when wrenching on engines. It actually held up pretty well. Got it for 60$, myota mvt, just fells cheap on the wrist, even for a cheap watch. The newer 8926OB have Seiko movements that hack and hand wind.

I see many people out in the wild wearing what looks like Invictas. Since they are advertised on American cable TV pretty much 24/7, it is not surprising. Especially since you can divide up the $100 cost or whatever into "value payments" of $20 a month. At an interest rate of 300% or so. Just kidding on the last part, I don't know what the outrageous rate actually is.

I always have to do a double take with some of their models. My wife's uncle has one that looks like a "pepsi". To each their own, wear what makes you happy. As for me I like watches that are unique and not trying to look like another. I'm just as happy wearing a $100 G-Shock as I am wearing my Sub.

I agree with James1787, my casual watches are as enjoyable as my heirlooms or close. But I was disappointed with the craftmanship of the Invictas that I've owned. They seemed ready to fall apart. I own comparably priced Casios and slightly more expensive Seikos that will hold up forever.

Id agree 100%. I bought a two tone gold and blue to see if the 16613 I want when I graduate is the watch for me. After my $80.00 test drive, I can say it is. Now I continue to work on school and save for my dream 16613.

Actually in the past this brand discussion hasn't gone to well especially after discussion of how Invicta manages to closely copy others designs. I personally don't mind the brand but must admit that they don't appear all to ethical in what they do. Actually wore one yesterday on the beach and in the ocean not wanting to risk Rolex lost while playing in the surf. To say the least the 46 mm watch felt inordinately large on my wrist.
