But my eyesight sucks.
If you're eyesight's going, get some of that sh*t from Frans. It's medically proven to help with glaucoma.

I tried the legal routes with my MD when I had the detached retina.
She wouldn't believe me that I was in that much pain.

That's why you need to see Frans. Of course, you have the famous BC Bud

Noticed that you work in Saudi Arabia - I hope that you have a handsome compensation package.

love the beautiful sea foam accent of the Islay malts. If you get a chance grab a bottle of the Bowmore 25 YO - it is spectacular. Recently Bowmore made an executive decision to discontinue their 30 YO line due to limited supplies. So they decided to marry the remaining 30 YO with their already great 25 YO producing a sensational single malt. I drained a bottle of it during the Christmas and New Year holiday. The good news is that it can be had for the relatively low price of around $200 U.S. Buy it - but don't tell your wife how much you spent - trust me.

Ah, another conneseur of fine libations.

Of the Islays, I prefer the Laphroaig 10 yr. I've had the 15 and 30, but the 10 shows the maximum peat, which is what I love about it. Lagavulin and Bowmore are also excellent. There's also some very nice Caol Ilas that are not as expensive but for a lighter Islay they are quite flavorful and smooth.

But I still say that nothing beats a Macallan 25 yr. Although running a very close seond is a Balvenie 30 yr.

It's not been too bad for the past 20 months but they have just reduced it by 25%. Still it's somethig extra and that's what counts.

Yes, we should form a club if single malt lovers within TRF!

I have not had 25 YO Bowmore, but I have had this.......

Did someone say Lagavulin?

And when I'm in the modd for a lightly flavoured scotch, this has been my choice lately:

I don't have any Laphroaig on hand at the moment, but it is on my list of things to get.....it is also one of my favourites.

I think my 16610 has the same 'fault' - kisses the tips of the minute markers on the 9 O'clock side, just short on the 3 O'clock side......interesting, but it's really no big deal, and may be a trick of the light - but doesn't look like it to me
