No matter what lighting the chocolate and the dial you have are hard to read compared to the lighter daytona dials. I do however think the darker ones are sharper to look at.

Love this. If only RSCs allowed you to change (at a price of course) dials like they did in the past

I'm no stranger to the Daytona as I have a white faced SS (which I also feel is a tad small) but on the leather it definitely felt smaller. I wouldn't mind but its not like I have bit wrists, only 6.5 inch. My dreams are shattered. I was seriously contemplating buying one but only if I felt it was a lifetime watch as it would be a bank buster for me. It actually felt a bit like a toy watch it felt that small. I just can't believe it. The dial under the jewelers lighting looked amazing. I was actually trying to get it under the table into some shade to see how much that might alter the dial, the lady wondered what the f**k I was doing . I'm trying to tell myself it looked small because the strap wasn't sized to my wrist so I was trying to hold it down at the sides. Right now I'm feeling absolutely gutted
I agree 100%!! I love this combo and felt like I had to have it! Then I put it on and part of me was relieved. I already own the SS black dial and it definitely wears a little small. This one- it really looked small on my wrist! It looked like a 37-38 on my wrist. Loved it but hated it on my wrist bc of the size. Kinda glad....

Ask a different one.....ADs can order parts such as dials and they can do the swap. It's quite simple. Not sure why they say they can't?

Yes should be doable. I also really like this dial for the ceramic.

Is that a new dial? I don't recall that one being an option for the rg?

No, I've had this pic for a couple of years but not seen many others.

Just checked with my HK AD and according to them, only RSC's in Europe are officially allowed to change dials to different ones at the moment. I'm not sure how true this is. Apparently, there was a rule made by rolex sometime this year that RSC's in certain parts of the world could only replace dials on watches with the same dials they were originally manufactured with. Has anyone else heard this or something similar?

That cant be a rose gold daytona as it has the yellow gold bracelet model bezel graduations.

Unless there was a rose gold model like this prior to the current 116505

I like leather but when it comes to Rolex, may I say let Cellini models get fitted with that.
