Icon14 Is this mid-size Speed King dial original?

I have posted this watch before on this forum, but the pictures were not great. So, I hope these are more clear. The dial has a nice silver luster that is tough to capture with a smartphone camera... I understand that the hands are not the proper ones for this dial.

I would love to hear what you guys think. The lettering looks original to me compared to other Rolex dials that I know to be original. But what do I know?!!!

I have not seen a brushed steel dial from this era before. So, I would lean to redone dial

thanks for your reply MILGAUSS88... I would tend to agree with you. That is why i am wondering if this was a replacement dial of some sorts because the lettering looks factory (at least to me through a loupe).

Looks redone to me. The second hashs and Swiss at the bottom of the dial look off.

Good point on the "Swiss" at the bottom... did not notice that until now!

I question if this was even an original dial, let alone redone.
I do not remember ever seeing an engraved coronet in a dial.
It looks laser etched to me.

Nice looking. But I would be shocked if it was original.
