New steel diver
Open case back with ceramic bezel. High chance this is going to happen.

A friend sent me this image - not sure if it's a mock up or photoshop. Let's hope it's true!

I would love it if AP would eventually let me upgrade the rubber crowns on my FC diver. The new SS diver on bracelet might need to be my new daily beater |

I might be interested in a SS Diver with ceramic bezel. Even more so if RG.

interestingly enough, the description for the existing SS diver on the AP site now says "availability to be confirmed" (as was the case for the FC diver)
DIVER Selfwinding watch with dive-time measurement and date. Stainless steel case, black dial with inner rotating ring with diving scale, luminescent hour-markers and hands. Black strap. Availability to be confirmed. http://www.audemarspiguet.com/en/wat...T.OO.A002CA.01 |

Not sure if this would happen. It might be good for end users with a cost, but the models might be too similar to each other unless they discontinue the full steel version.

We'll find out in a few more days... I may be tempted to upgrade to this from my current SS Diver, mostly because the SS bezel is such a scratch magnet.

Only guessing but I feel initially many steel bezel divers would hit the preowned market resulting in a slightly lower price. Long term it would likely level out though once the supply returns to normal and the flippers have sold theirs.

I doubt it would be cermet when they aren't yet on the 44mm Novelties. I don't think sales of the SS Diver are so weak that they will discontinue it in favour of a ceramic bezel, esp as they have two other versions of the Diver for more protection.

Would be very surprised if they did a base ss diver with a ceramic bezel. We shall see but I would bet against seeing that.
