Torn between two... Help me decide

Really want to pick up a 1983 matte dial 16800 or 16660. Can someone help me with a comparison of the two? I know the 16660 is more expensive and has a deeper rating, but I'm curious if there are any other differences? I really want a vintage from my birth year as my first rolex, but it seems like there are a lot of nuances when buying older rolexes. Appreciate the help in advance.

Matte dial 666 prices have gone nuts the last couple years. I really want one to go with my 1980 16800 but just haven't found the right watch/deal. Can't go wrong either way!
