If you want a 5131 …

I think you need to be fast.
Unfortunately you can't get one from your dealer anymore since they are discontinued.

But on the secondhand market something is changing VERY fast.

These is a site www.watches.de, a well known dealer across Europe, probably in the rest of the world too because he really sells the high end and very hard to get stuff.

He had 3 (THREE !!!) 5131 Patek 5131 in stock.
And is it not the kind of dealer that advertises watches he does not have
Anyway …. look how fast it goes

15 dec 2014 - http://www.watches.de/en/products/se...aled-5131g-010

30 jan 2015 - http://www.watches.de/en/products/se...e-sealed-5131g

another 30 jan 2015 - http://www.watches.de/en/products/se...old-5131j-2908

3 PP5131 sold in just 6 weeks !!!!
These 3 watches were for sale since 6 months or so and suddenly they are all gone.
Do more and more people know these are discontinued and has the hunt for the last pieces begun ?
If Patek will not make an R or P …. I think you need to pull the trigger

5131 is a lovely reference-one of my fav- but I do not think PP will fully discontinue, I guess they will change the metal or something on the dial and release it for Basel ,it s a great watch as I said but even its listprice a bit high and I d never pay the dough ppl are asking on the market , some do .

thank you Bruno

this is very interesting - i think the word has got out that the J and G versions have been discontinued and so people that were previously waiting for an allocation from an AD are now probably biting the bullet and paying the big premium.

I think the value will continue to appreciate but I myself will not be paying that price in the secondary market.

I do hope that a P and R are launched at Basel.

This is terrible news. I'm on the wait list. Makes me hate PP.

Don't say that my friend
Negotiate with your AD to be in the top list in case of new model
Then Wait for Basel,
you will be happy

That is what I did my friend and they said my application and allotment will transfer over so I am top of list and don't have to be approved again.
