Is this a sign of bird flu?

I took this picture of a black winged stilt yesterday. It had just lifted it's head from the water, leaving a drip on the end of it's bill. This somewhat resembled a running nose.

A strange thing happened when I uploaded the picture to Photobucket, the dimensions were reduced by 50%. I'm sure it's due to JJ clogging up the works.

LOL! GR8 picture, Adrian...you do have that uncanny knack of catching 'em at the right time. You'd be a sensation on a nudist beach!!

BTW, I do keep deleting old pics from my photobucket so it doesn't go into too many pages. Hard to keep a track then!!

Great picture Adrian is that with the new lens, auto resize might be down to forum software picture size 700X700.Think photobucket has reduced there size now to a max of 512 KB,but think imageshack is still on 1024KB max size but expect them to follow photobucket soon.Perhaps you are right Adrian it could be down to JJ.excessiverolexsubpicturepostingsyndrome, and unfortunately there is no known cure.

I think the reduction was because the original file size was too big. I've uploaded the file with a reduced size we'll have to see what happens.

Super picture pic Adrian. I think it's better than the one you took of the bird on the wire. And that one was great also

It's a Nikon D200 with a Tamron 200-500 zoom. I saw some pictures of a guy in Israel who uses the same lens and was impressed. So much so that I bought one.

Al, my long lost friend,

I suggest you take a long lost break from TRF, attend to your bows and arrows as well as your watch skills and let Jacqui take over in your place. It will be such a pleasant and delightful change!!

That's a biggie. I've got a Nikon D70 with a Tamron 28-300 zoom. Pretty much takes care of most situations, except, those real long distance close ups.
