Not sure about the dial, but you stole that baby, I love the eagle beak crown guards, my favorite sports model.

Not much good to say about this one...sorry. Refinished or aftermarket dial, poor case, severe rust, replaced hands and bezel insert. The bezel might be the original, early 1960s style but it is hard for me to judge this by the photos.

Doesn't look like any I've seen Mike. If you have one, email it to me. The fonts are very "shakey" on this dial.

If I remember correctly, it was determined that the dial was not genuine in this other thread. It does have the same photos that are found in this thread which makes it that much more interesting.

Easy to tell now JP, side by side the Crown is not the tall weird one, the serifs are totally off and the spacing and style of the GMT-Master is as well. I should not be taking quick glances without my glasses on :-) |

Given the fact it's the same pictures, as a worst case scenario, this could be a Chinese manufacturer rep making fake watches and running them across the resident experts here to see if they pass inspection/receive approval.
The duplicate pictures, coupled with the fact that both OP's have ~11 posts to their name, leave me skeptical. |

It also looks like the OP was saying (or trying to say) that he posted it here before and it sparked interesting debate. Perhaps he just lost his old account info and PW?

So. I wish the original poster would explain himself. Same pics. I feel wronged.
