Great review - I think the WG version looks really good. I have never been a big fan of the YG versions. YG doesn't look good on me (some would claim that SS doesn't look good on me either :-).
Thanks for sharing the review Frostie!

The platinum and wg versions of this watch are simply amazing. I tried one on a few weeks back and was just stunned at the weight of them; obviously because of the weight of gold and platinum as compared to SS.
It is the ultimate rolex in my opinion. I would really love to have one one of these days, but the price is so high. beautiful watch. |

I have very wide wrist, way above 8", and always used to wear my Omega 42mm.
I have recently bought my Datejust 36mm and, while it took me time to get used to it, I find it ok. Actually, I love it. Yes, by today's standards, it is small - but it is a classic watch and the size is completely a matter of getting used to, combination with your clothes and style, as well as judged by fashion and trends...

I have small wrists under 7". My TT DJ fits and looks just right on my wrist. I remember before I got mine I worried that it would look too big. Not so thank goodness! With that in mind, my TT DJ wants to be a Gold Presidential when it grows up.

A very enjoyable, informative review. John Holbrook's photography IS indeed up there with the best as JJ said, and his writing is excellent too.
I like the white dial Roman DD's as well. Gives a good contrast with the case and bracelet. Truly a beautiful watch! ![]()
