Icon4 Tudor Heritage Chrono Power Reserve Update

hello all,

just an update, after 3 months this watch is still great and its making my others jealous...

now that that's out of the way, the PR isn't; but my AD said the 38hr PR is only really true after a full wind and not just based on routine wear.

a full wind once a week is recommended unless you're a very animated active wearer.

i'm getting about 12 - 15hrs pr with only wrist wear and it's not a defect.

(still loving this watch!)

Love my THC too, CJ. Mine's been running +4 sec per day since I bought it 4 years ago.

Never tested the PR but never had it stop when used the day before.

Whoever told you that took something simple and oversimplified it to the point that it is no longer correct.

In a properly functioning watch, the power reserve will be the same no matter how a full wind is achieved.

DP!

Long time bud!

well, i'm at a desk for the most part and on weekends i remove it at say, 7pm and not wear again until noon the following day. i just throw it on and lounge on weekends so it loses charge overnight and doesn't replenish to full charge when its just worn casually. so, i can see how its always losing a bit to the point where its beyond a full change. it makes sense to me.

my dssd would sometimes stop too after only about 30hrs sitting and it had a 50+ hr PR from what i recall. i think the bigger the watch, the less momentum for the rotor (guess here) as its also worn closer to the wrist than say my smaller watches like a 14060 which is almost forgotten on my wrist.

whatever... i still love it!
