Crown thread size of case tube for day date???
Does anyone have any data on the measurement of the case tube exterior diameter which screws onto the crown of the day date 1803???
Is this size for the 1803 exterior tube part universal for all other day date crowns in the 36mm day date models ??? Many thanks in advance for any input |

part number for the original tube and crown were 24-6020 tube and 24-600-8 but have been replaced with monoblock crown 24-604-3 and tube 24-6330-0. Diameter of the threads appr. 4.32 to .33 MM's Good luck Rik

Hello Rik
I put crown 24-600-0 on my Tudor from 1960 (with proper tube) and it does not fit because the stem cannot penetrate deep enough into the crown. No chance to press the crown gasket . Has crown number 24-604-0 been improved on that point ? Reading other posts, it seems I am not alone with the problem . Best regards to timelord and Rik |
