It is an interesting observation. The choice seems to be made purely for the love of its horological purity, an indication of our educated company here on TRF

As owner of both 5711 blue and 5726 grey and white dials, I've found myself defaulting to the 5711 more often due to thinness, light weight, comfort and simple dial makes the blue hue standout more compared to the heavier, more complicated and expensive (and therefore more "powerful") 5726. Depends on what you value more in a watch I guess!

Make the same on the AP sub forum with all the major RO models and I pretty much guarantee that the SS Jumbo will win, and now that I've seen most RO's I have to say I understand why, ok to be honest it might come in second after the ultra thin RG skeleton, now that one is insanely beautiful, and I don't like full gold watches for myself...
