thanks for the info.

i had a TT bluesy as my first watch and now seem to find myself drawn to the smurf as something different.

ps bought the new pelagos blue and love it as it reminds a bit of the smurf blue

pps didn't even make it home with the pelagos and the lady decided it was hers … now she catches me staring at her wrist as much as her….

The pelagos is blue now. Go get the gmt. It's a special watch that very few have.

I just have a gut feeling that they'll make the red/blue another option for the steel watches due to the popularity of them and they'll make the new white gold exclusive the red/black coke bezel

Do you think if they make the ceramic Pepsi bezel available on the SS model they will ever sell another white gold Sub ever again? Piss off the customers that can afford one and they may never sell another PM watch, period.

Having their WG Pepsi be retired after only a couple of years of production would make the watch go up in value instead of depreciating in value like a typical gold watch, so why would they be pissed off?

You know they'll make this watch in the future, they need to keep giving people new reasons to buy white gold after the Pepsi sales start slowing down

Anywho, it is my opinion they will not make a stainless copy of the WG Pepsi, even if and when they discontinue the 116719. Of course, I know enough to never say never when it comes to Rolex so I'd put the over/under at two decades, at least.

Frankly, it is much more likely they would make a PT Coke than come out with a WG Coke and stainless Pepsi. It would even be more realistic to hope for a ceramic stainless Coke than a Pepsi one.

It seems like a silly business move for Rolex to waste something thats obviously going to sell like hot cakes on something that already sells like hot cakes like a steel GMT. I can see them keeping the coke gimmick for a near future white gold after the sales start dropping.

Not a big fan of the smurf dial ...
