Question for our watchmakers
When you are in school are you taught to leave a notation on the inside of the case back as to when a service has been preformed ?

At the SAWTA schools you are not taught to do this. However, it is very traditional and the AWCI will still issue a case mark to members who request one.
Brand service centers still scribe on various watch components. Why do you ask? |

I don't remember, but I believe it was encouraged. I've never been "given" a case mark. I just use my initials VC.
