Icon12 I'd appreciate some recommendations

I HAVE ONLY PURCHASED MY ROLEXES FROM AUTHORIZED DEALERS, BUT AM THINKING OF ORDERING A WATCH I SAW ONLINE. CAN ANYONE RECOMMEND AN ONLINE DEALER WHOM YOU KNOW TO BE TRUSTWORTHY? THE SITE THAT I SAW PROMISES AUTHENTICITY (AND GIVES YOU ENOUGH TIME TO HAVE YOUR PURCHASE AUTHENTICATED) AND WILL ACCEPT RETURNS WITH NO RESTOCKING FEE. IF ANYONE HAS PURCHASED THEIR ROLEX ONLINE - REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THE EXPERIENCE WAS POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE - WOULD YOU MIND SHARING IT? THANKS MUCH.

Welcome to TRF

Although I never ordered from them, I have heard a lot of good feedback about AlanFurman.com and SwissLuxury.com. It might be worth checking them out.

If you're going brand new........I'd be more inclined to go to an AD!! That way..there's no question of authenticity!! I don't think the money savings on line is worth the risk...and headache! Now...pre-owned is a different story.

Taffi,

I applaud your buying from an AD for comfort.........I do too.

Everything you see on the internet isn't true..................Just because they say that you can have it authenticated, it doesn't mean much if the entire operation isn't honorable.. And some of them, the pictures they use aren't really theirs..

Look through our WatchOut section and you will find some good ones and some bad ones..

x2.

I don't see any price advantages for a new watch sold from online dealer vs. AD.
Preowned you can find ones with better price here at TRF or Timezone than you can find from jewelers.

Welcome to TRF. If you buy online, buy the seller first. Good luck.

Rule of thumb, is "buy the seller" check the seller out, but remeber if your buying BNIB, there might be Rolex warranty issues in the US

After listening to this forum's feedback, there is no way I'll be buying from anyone but an authorized dealer. (It' the only way to be absolutely certain I'm getting a real Rolex). Thanks, "Submariner Boy!" (I own a two-tone lady's datejust with white diamond dial.)
