Under sad circumstances at the age of 40; inherited a Calatrava 5120-J when my father passed away earlier this year. Sadly, I had just bought the watch for him the previous Christmas.

39. Just got a 5167a. Assuming that it'll be with me for the long run, my son is 4 months old. He won't get it for a long time!

Thank you both. It's been difficult, I'll admit; personally testing out the Patek strap line ("You never actually own a Patek…..") has been interesting. My father wanted one for years, and despite having the means, never pulled the trigger, so I did it for him. I just wish I'd done it sooner. Anyway, thanks again.

Yup. Silly to pay that much for a steel, "assembly line" Patek, and I say this as an owner of a watch with the same movement.
