Sell or keep? I need help to decide

Guys,

I have new VC overseas chrono, and just having second thought about it... I'm patek lover and I just purchase this VC a few weeks to complete the holy trinity. Its somehow very similar to my Rolex Daytona. So should I keep or let go and just purchase to PP complications?

What are your thoughts?

Thanks!

I would let it go. You're not very into it. You can complete the trinity perhaps with a 3 hand traditionnelle. Which PPs are you considering?

It sounds like the watch does not work for you. That's OK, just find a watch that does. Move on, too much money to be tied up in a watch that does not work. Go get something that does.

Would be good to know what else you have in the collection. As for "holy trinity" it's just a term, no one says you must have all three.

I don't see the point of buying an AP and a VC for the sake of owning one from each if you don't genuinely like anything from those brands.

Completely agree - just buy what you enjoy

I myself have probably been driven by others opinions but luckily I have bonded well with all my watches.

Dump it and suffer the pre owned price loss. Get something you love

My holy trinity is PP, AP and Rolex, so I would sell.

Sell. As long as you can afford a PP with same functions.

Sell. If you don't like it.

Holy Trinity is marketing BS.

I'd sell the Daytona and keep the VC.

Personally it's not as alluring as a pp or a ap
And I honestly think the Daytona is nicer!?

I had 3 brands in my collection at my one time but now only left PP AP in my collection. Having said that, I love the oversea 3 hands time and date version and don't mind to consider in future.

Keep the 49150 — superb bracelet and big date, which you don't have on the other two.
5712 dial layout is an utter mess, and the Daytona is only iconic because of typical Rolex supply manipulation.
It wouldn't be half as popular if you could simply walk into an AD and walk back out with it, any time you wished.

Ruk,

I have PP nautilus 5712/1A, Rolex Daytona 116520, Rolex Datejust 41 rhodium diamond dial, Panerai PAM 580 and PAM 564, VC Overseas Chronograph and AP Jules Audemars gstaad classic... soon I will have Rolex Daydate 40 228235 rose gold. I share some pics later

In this case, I'd sell the VC, but I'm biased towards the Rolex Daytona.

Buy what you like.... If you feel as though, the VC overseas is a keeper, then keep it. If not flip it. I would personally flip the VC. However, either way, you can't go wrong

Let go.

It sounds as if you are in doubt and leaning more toward PP, if ever so slightly.
Buy what YOU love, not what others tell you or what others claim as a general adagium.

If you already have doubts you've answered your question. Get a nice Sky-Moon or something more unique and not just the typical timepiece we see here all the time.

That's a gorgeous watch, but if doesn't do it for you, then sell it and get something that does.
