A modern vintage Sinn 809

This isn't quite a modern watch but at only 20-25 years old it's not quite true vintage either. Regardless, I fell in love with the design the moment I saw it and I finally added a German watch to my collection.

With a still modern 39mm size, the 809 has a chronometer grade movement in a minimal size case. It has the blackest dial I've ever seen and the lume plots are uniquely printed on the back of the sapphire crystal providing a three-dimensional dial that's almost impossible to capture in a two-dimensional picture. The stainless steel bracelet is a traditionally styled Sinn and quite comfortable. It's a great addition to my dive collection.

I don't see a lot of Sinn here on TRF, so whatcha think? Are there any other Sinners out there?

I think it looks stunning. I have two, I use them for work (manual), they are fabulous, they get banged around without a mark, I also like the fact that even though they are £1.5K watches they fly under the radar and don't scream "excess" at my fellow workers. I love Sinning.

I love it! I'm not familiar with the 809 so thanks! Sinn makes some great pieces. I used to have an 857 and miss it.
