It is a classic for sure! So everybody knows, the 2006 Stanley Cup champs, Dallas Stars are up 1-0 after the first period.

You are probably correct sir. I do think it is wide open this year though. Should be some great watching during the playoffs.

Well I'm pretty sure I know who they won't be... The Toronto (choke again this year) Maple Leafs!

As a life-long Leaf fan, I can say the LEAFS SUCK! In fact, I got so fed up with them I moved to Ottawa to live in a city where the hockey team is actually good! It's weird cuz sometimes when the Sens lose A game, the media is all over them. Man, in TO, the Leafs have to lose like 10 in a row for the media to bat an eye, cuz it's normal. LOLOLOL

I'd say if the Sens can get past the Maple Leaf curse of the first round, they should be a sure bet to make the final. Against whom, I have no idea. It's pretty open, as Daren said.

You both are right about the Leafs, and man that is a shame. There should be a rule that them and Detroit are always good. At least one of them is.

Just remember, you could be a Penguins fan.

The media is mental here in Canada when it comes to the local teams... and I agree the Leafs lost way too many in a row to keep their coach.

The Sens are sizzling hot and if there has to be a team that wins the cup besides my Leafs then the Sens would be my next choice!

Of course the ribbing from you and the rest of Ottawa would be quite painful to endure!

The cup always goes to the best team (except for that year Gretzky took a dive and the Kings made it past the Leafs GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR)....

If the Stars win it again, they deserve it. But the Sens have been smokin' all season. I just hope they keep it together for the playoffs (the real season).

BTW, I was a Nordique fan for the longest time and when they packed up for Colorado, I was very sad... and that was compounded when they finally won the cup the year after they moved. I think Quebec City is still smarting from that one. LOL
