Elegant and complicated.
Do you change the timing belt every 15k? |

I noticed the time is the same time as NOW, but 12 hours off.
Beautiful piece. Did YOU open the caseback? Does this model automatically change the days and know when to go from 30 to 31 days in the month or do you manually change it like Rolex? Wish the Cellini line would come out with something as complicated and clean looking. Best of luck with it!!!

It's a beautiful and very fine watch, Tony.
I came close to getting the slate dial one but WOS in Cardiff couldn't quite get down to my max price level so no deal. Congratulations.

Thank you to everybody, for your kind comments.
To answer some of your questions. Markg, it has the 315 S IRM QA LU movement. Some people reckon that this model has been fitted with the 324 movement, but PP have informed me that they haven't. John, you are correct, its what is called an Annual Calender, it only requires the date to be changed once a year on March 1st. And no It has a sapphire back fitted. Mrdi, Good question but no I don't have to change the belt as it has a steel one fitted. Paul, I hope that in the future you will be able to do a deal with WOS.

Tony, that is a true masterpiece! As I mentioned to you the other day, I recently had the opportunity to try on the one you have as well as the WG/slate dial version, and could not believe how beautiful they were. Enjoy it, as I'm sure you will. As David noted, you own a real treasure.

the earlier 5146 had the 315/199 which had the old 2 arm 8 weight gyromax balance. Then , for a while the 5146 had the 315/299 with the new improved gyromax balance with 4 arms but only 4 weights. the latest have the 324 movement. and congrats again on a GREAT watch! one of my favorites! |

TC,
Great watch, my favourite of the Complication Range. By the way PP suggest 3-5 years for service intervals. Have you any idea on the service turnaround timeline. Do they have to go back to Geneva? AJF |
