Oh no!!! The paradox!
Putting two of my favorite watches against each other! Sinn 856 is what I'd have. Nothing like Sinn, a company that knows what they're doing. You get a fantastic watch and you could have 2.5 Sinns for what the BB is retail. Sinn all the way. I owned the 856 UTC for a long time and I have to say, it was absolutely fantastic, Sinns aren't expensive but you get a truck-load of quality. Drawbacks to Sinn? They either have to their service center in PA or back to Duetschland for work, especially if the capsule has to be replaced. They also wear big, it's all dial. The BB36 is a lot smaller.

I'd get the 856 UTC myself, the little splash of yellow really makes it pop

I'll take a brushed and polished finish over media blasted for sure. Clearly the Sinn will be better for hard use though.

Sinn. Just bought 857 UTC TESTAF. Case and bracelet and dial are top notch. Verdict is out on the ETA movement. But its also ETA in that BB 36 so its up to how you plan to use the watch. My Sinn is for my weekend flying job...not really a watch I would wear every day.

I saw the bb36 yesterday. Looks ok, but at 36mm I prefer the exp1 114270. And if i want snowflakes, I'd go with a 41 mm BB.
I have a sinn 856 utc in pvd. Which I love, but has only been used recently when travelling to developing countries. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk |

I like the polishing on the Tudor better.
Sinn doesn't have a great presence here in the states, so it's hard for me to comment on watches I've never seen in person or even had the opportunity to try on. We barely had a Fortis outlet here years ago, and of course, due to demand, they stopped carrying Fortis watches. |
