Icon1 DaytonaC in Singapore

Hi,
I plan to travel to singapore for business and a friend of mine told me that in Singapore I'll easily find the new 116500 black dial I'm looking for.

Does anyone can confirm this ? ... and if confirmed... at which price ? Rolex market price or much higher ?

Thanks for your thoughts.

I'd be surprised since black Daytonas tend to be more sought after in Asia. Also Asian ADs tend to charge a premium for popular sports models. Perhaps you can find it, buy you'll likely have to pay the premium.

I very much doubt you'll find one there.

Sorry that is just wishful thinking. It is the hottest watch on the market right now. You might get one by dumb luck, but 99.5% of the Daytona C's now sell to people on AD's waiting lists.

I asked my own AD, from whom I've purchased three times and introduced a dozen customers that I can remember, and he shook his head with a gentle smile.

You might get (extremely) lucky at another AD if you have more money than Mr. W Gates in your back pocket but I very much doubt it.

Good luck anyways

You're best chance is at an airport boutique. They do get them in unallocated and actually put them on the shelf at MRSP (minus sales tax obv). Obviously they go pretty quick so it's just luck but always have a look.
