Ninja moment regulating my SARB065 today
I've had the watch for about a year now but it's always been about 30sec fast. On the high end of spec I think. The crown is rounded on the side closest to the case so I always have to use a collar stay to pop it open and reset it. Kind of annoying. I tried to regulate it a few months ago and ended up being about a minute slow. I just shelved the watch for later when I would have more time or motivation. Finally got around to working on it three days ago and verified the error for 2 days leaving the watch on a winder. 1min 15 sec. I opened the case up yesterday and made a small adjustment. Rechecked it today and BAM!! Only 4 seconds fast in 24hrs! I couldn't believe I got that lucky with it. I'll recheck it tomorrow and start wearing it to get a real world number but I imagine it won't be too far off of my number leaving it on a winder. My Alpinist is going to be here on Friday as well. It's going to be a good week for Seiko, I can feel it

Love the Cocktail Time and Alpinist. Two of my favorite pieces. Did I read correctly that they are discontinuing the Cocktail Time?
