Buy from any AD and ask for a VAT exemption form. You pay full retail but then can claim a portion back. It won't be the full 20% but it will be quite generous I think.

Yep I know I can get 13% more or less after handling fees etc, I just need to find a nice ad which can knock off some 5-10% ;) you have any flexible AD name?

Sorry no one does discount in the UK is my perception. Only vat free on airports.
