I'm a huge fan of the aquanaut for its comfort, style, and stealthiness, so I'd vote option 2

Option 1 but does it matter what we think? Go for pair you like the most and if you don't know you aren't ready so just get 5711 and wait.

Between the two - option 1; brand diversity is fun.
I think a 15202 and 5167 would be a nice pair too. |

Prefer brand diversity and different looks. I'd say 5711 blue and a back or white dial 15300

Option 3?
Patek 5167 + AP 15450
Just another set of choices you might consider. But...try them on an take your time to see what works best for you. there are now bad choices in any of your options. |

I vote for option 2, but mainly because I was very disappointed by my unworn blue 15400 that I was making a joy of servicing and wearing l, and which after 2 hours playing with it and wearing it, was very underwhelming, didn't like the feel, fit and all. Love my ROO though, my personal best trio is 5712, 5167R and AP ce diver, if I had only these 3 I would be more than happy watch wise

I've got a small wrist and i'm loving how the 15400 fits on my wrist. I'd go for the blue 15400 and 5167

Option 2,. That would be the end of my collection. I'd sell everything else.

I have a 5711, 5167R and 15300, and for me, but some, will disagree, I much prefer the PP though a 5711 and an AP ROO would make for an awesome pair and would be my choice, probably the 44 ceramic or titanium or if you can find one, my favorite ROO, and the one I have, the 42mm ceramic diver, but between the 2 choices definitely the 2 PP

No I still have it, but intend to sell it either to finance some other watch or something else, but it is clearly going, sooner or later, just not now, have no need for the extra cash at the moment

my dream is a white 5711 and 5167. So I can see both your options, and understand your preference for a blue dial 5711, the white is a bit weird, but I love it.
The 5167 gives you variety in a sporty model on rubber. The 15450 gives you variety having a light dial and more brand diversity. I'd still lean towards the 5167 as my personal preference, but both would be great options. |

Option 2
Too much overlap between a Nautilus and a Royal Oak, both watches serve the same purpose and have similar features. I know many people can have several variations of the same watch (sport Rolexes for instance), but I like each watch to serve a different purpose, look or at least have a different material. The tropical strap on the 5167 gives it a different vibe and use.

I second the motion. 5711 and 5164 - nice contrast to the same family. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
