Any rationale for this? It still says Seiko . .. . . .

Man the finishing is so above the pay grade they charge for these. I just can't warm up to the Japanese aesthetic unfortunately.

How does everyone feel about the new GS high beat diver.
TBH I am a bit disappointed on the choice of dial. That pattern looks straight copied out of an AP 15400. So we are getting a sub and ap mix? Also that sort of fine dialpattern seemed to suit a dress watch better than on a tool watch .... Nevertheless the rounded marker looks ABSOLUTELY unique and gorgeous ! |

Should have dropped the "grand" as well.
Just say Seiko in a unique font and have GS on the dial. |

at first i was.. than after better pictures... i would prefer 44m as opposed to 46.5mm reality is that its a bargain at 11000+ US for the specs...titanium, hibeat 36000 movement if this had Rolex on the dial it would be $16000US approx |

Well that is a welcomed change, maybe I will finally get one some day, the Seiko at 12 was a turn down for me, reminded me too much of all the cheap Seikos I had when I was 16-20, even if I am not looking for a watch that will draw attention from people also not looking for people to think I have a 200 dollar watch when it cost much more,

I really prefer the old dials. Some of the new ones are totally unbalanced. Quartz and hand wound in particular.

Very nice pieces. I didn't mind having Seiko (separately) on the dial, but the update is also welcome.
Funny - some of the dials look pretty sparse now to me!

Time to scoop up the pre-2017 models. Otherwise, looks awesome!

To be honest I loved the snowflake and am rather for the logo change, but I much prefer the previous snowflake, something just seems off on this one, looked better before...

Ok the GMT's are nice and well balanced, but really not a fan of the new spring drive dials where you only have spring drive written on the bottommaybe the font should be bigger, don't really know, but the ones with spring drive and another line on the bottom are quite ok

I actually prefer to have both the Seiko name up front and the Grand Seiko name below in a more discrete manner so that the watch can be more "under the radar". It also makes the dial more balance.

Yes the GMT Dials have better balance now, IMHO. Waiting for some future dial variations.
