FS: Rolex 1655 Explorer II - Mark 1

Up for sale is my Rolex 1655 Explorer II - Mark 1

The watch has serial 3380XXX which is clearly visible which in my opinion dates it to 1972.
As you can tell the watch is in amazing condition.
I purchased this watch from HQ Milton in 2015 and haven’t changed a thing on it other than the work LAWW did to it.
This year it has been sent to LAWW for their famous work they do on vintage watches.

The results are amazing as you can tell.

Dial:
The watch comes with a flawless Mark 1 dial with frog foot coronet and straight second hand.
The perfect patina on the dial is amazing and flawless. The original hands match perfectly and the Orange hand is as bright as they get.

Case:
Excellent case that has just been polished lightly by LAWW. The lugs remain thick and even as you can see with extremely sharp lug holes.
The bezel is the rare Mark 1 Bezel which makes this watch a full spec Mark 1.

Bracelet:
The bracelet is the original Rolex 7836 folded bracelet without date stamp.
It comes with a total of 13 links and has fixed 380 end links.
I haven’t worn the bracelet since I got the watch, therefore the watch is pictured here with a spare 78360 I used (78360 not included in sale)
The bracelet has moderate stretch which is consistent with the age.

As you can see this is as good as they get.
A 1655 in this condition will not hit the market any time soon in my opinion.
