Has anyone here owned a King Midas?

Very interesting looking watch and according to the web it was the heaviest gold watch money could buy at its release. So im curious just how heavy is it?

King Midas

I've never owned a King Midas. I have had a newer version (1980s Benvenuto Cellini) on my wrist (similar to the one pictured here with gold dial). I don't know what it weighed, but it was heavy.

194 and 203 grams.

Anything below that is not a "real" King Midas.
