I've seen the video before as he throws off watches with careless abandon; very humorous!!!

The demand really came out of nowhere. Before I left to Germany for a couple of months in September, they were at their normal prices. All of sudden I look at chrono24 sometime in early November and Hulks are fetching $10k+! Throughout the past couple of years the BLNR was always harder to acquire than the Hulk and the Hulk's prices were always lower than the BLNRs especially without B&P. I had the chance to pick one up for $7.5k on 47th St. of all places where prices are usually higher than average. I was also offered a Hulk when I went to get my name on the DaytonaC list. I like the watch but turned it down both times because green just isn't versatile enough. If prices don't come down I will really be pissed at myself for not getting it for 7.5.

So he looks at the PP and says, "What is this, a Seiko?!?"

We all have stories like that. I have a similar one with a SS Daytona before they went crazy years ago. Stupid cheap.

Yep! No one can predict the future! I regret not picking up a 116520 when many were selling them to get the ceramic. I remember seeing many for sub $10k. I don't think we'll see those prices ever again. I find TT Zenith 16523s for about $9.5k here and there but imo Daytonas need to be one color. It's crazy that they would be worth more if you could take all of the gold off! The only TT watches I think look good are the TT Subs and of course the TT Datejusts.

I've been saving my pennies for awhile with the intention of buying an LV. I haven't really browsed TRF too much lately. Well, I started poking around here recently and BAM! I see that LVs are a hot commodity and you can't find them anywhere :(

Hilarious...thanks for posting.

So refreshing to see someone not take the whole watch thing too seriously.
