Need referral for Omega AT watch dial repair
So essentially I have a 36mm Omega Seamater Aqua Terra 2518.3000 quartz movement that unfortunately suffered some water damage a few years ago. The watch was opened and cleaned by a local watchmaker and has been functional but I wanted to send it out to get the dial professionally refinished or replaced. You can see in the attached picture how some dried water has left some marks on the dial. I don't mind sending the watch out and wanted to know if there was any place that would be a great to work with on this project of mine. Also from anyone's experience if from the looks the dial can be refinished or if its easier to replace with a new? Thanks!

The Watchmaker Extraordinaire and the Magician you seek is the Canadian Al Jenskey @ Archer Watches. Al is also a Certified Omega Watch Repairman and the Distingushed Resident of the Omega Forum.
All photo credits @MUCC1416 had a 5513 handed down to him by his father who wore the watch faithfully for 40 yrs Before the 5513 was delivered to AlThe 5513 after Restoration by Al |
