Time for a change? Not getting enough wrist time?

I've never been one for having my watches locked away in cupboards never getting any wrist time and would much rather get use out of them. I'm the same with my cars...too many people have 'Garage Queens' that sit in the garage, come out, get polished, go back in again....never seen the point to be honest but each to their own I guess.

So how do you wear yours? Do you have a daily wearer, a smart occasion watch, a special occasion watch, a birthday watch or do you rotate them all on a strict cycle?

Come on...what do you wear and when?!

Lets see who has the watch that has the longest time ago that it ever saw a wrist....

And for those of you who have now realised its pointless having a nice watch sitting in a draw then why not trade it for something stunning, rare and available and wear it! Like this maybe....

My first Rolex (14060) is now a 'safe queen'. But, I do take it out about 10-12 times a year and wear it, usually when the mood strikes.

I too believe in buying to wear.
Best of luck with the trade.

10-12 times a year is not too bad - at least its seeing daylight

As with a few collectors I admit to having pieces that only see occasional wrist time. Doesn't mean I like them any less. Pride of ownership can take many forums.

I go in different spurts. Some weeks I wear a different watch each day. Other times I may wear a watch for an entire week. It also depends on what I am wearing. I have been known to wear my DD during the day and come home an put on my PO for the rest of the night.

I only have a couple that do not get much wrist time, and they have sentimental value so they are not on a potencial flip list.
