116000 Dial Options
I have a new 116000, with white arabic numbers + battens and blue face, bought recently from a UK authorised dealer. I would have prefered to have a black face but the pink infill in the numbers and battens just doesn't look right to me at all. What I am after is a plain black face with white 3, 6, 9 and battens.
I have found some Japanese 116000 with exactly the face I want, so I wrote to Rolex-UK and asked them how I could get my watch face changed. They came back and said that the black face with white numbers and battens is not available for the 116000! I am sure this Rolex-UK information isn't the whole story. Can anyone tell me how I can go about getting the black face I want, short of buying a new watch? |
