Not rare at all. Easy to get now. In stock everywhere.

If you're a decent customer you should even be able to get a discount on these from your AD.

SS Daytona is still rare, wait-listed, and commands a premium from GM-ers.

GV Milgauss demand is fading fast and selling for list from GM-ers.

Does rare matter for your purchase? Don't know why it would but they are very common in AZ, almost every AD has the watches you are talking about and I would expect a discount too.

So why was the 116710 so difficult to find during all of 2007 and most of 2008?
They are only now being commonly seen in AD displays.

I was offered a new GMT II Ceramic from an AD for $6200. I thought that price was pretty good. I ended up buying one from another TRF member for $5600. M series, new condition.

Sounds a bit excessive. The only ones with a waiting list that I know of are the Milgauss GV, DSSD and the SS Daytona, all the others are fairly easy to get hold of.

Get yourself out of London and they are plentiful. Quoting a 3-6 month waiting list is absolute nonsense.

It's common now. Just like DSSD, I've seen it in a couple of AD's sitting in the display case

Saw one on Tuesday in an AD's window. But then again sometimes you don't see many at all...luck of the draw.
