People as in non-watch folks, are clueless how a Rolex looks like. They only know the brand as 'the-most-expensive-watch-brand-ever'.

As a SubC owner I rarely get comments on my watch. I own a grocery store in a medium town. 1000+ clients a day and not a single one commented on me, 'nice watch'.

After owning the full gold version for nearly 2 months I can say that the SS version is very low profile but the full YG version is the perfect f**k off watch!

The design isn't loud (thinking regular black/stainless steel) but the Rolex logo makes it loud. In certain environments/groups that is enough to make it look abnormally interesting regardless of visuals.

So I'd say the brand is too loud sometimes. I avoid wearing it in certain cases when I know it will pass the wrong impression.
