World Series of Poker Update

10k buy in Main Event down to 4 out of 7874 players and All four are Americans. I know there are a few poker players on here.

Mike Dyer - 194 million in chips
Tony Miles - 112 million
Nick Manion 45.5 million
John Cynn 42.3

Winner gets like 8.8 million cash

Google for payouts and it’s over tomorrow night.
Starts at 17:30 PST. I think it’s on ESPN

Started on 2 July with 7874 players, 2nd largest field in WSOP History for 10k Main Event. Economy must be back

Awesome, I love it, but like many of my interests...I haven’t learned it well enough to turn a profit...I’m mostly paying for lessons

Love this. Great thread.

A buddy just got back. He was somewhere about number 343. Super impressive.

Will be watching.

Amazing how much Dyer dropped off yesterday, seemed like he was going to cruise through this final table!

Who looks they lost 200 + million yesterday
Not good for him

They stopped early last night so there’s 3 players today instead of 2

Yep went to bed - got up at 5am and not much changed. The stacks where pretty even. Congrats to both on a great WSOP run.

It was epic - and of note - the most gentile heads up match I’ve ever watched.

I had to get some sleep 8 hours into play and set 3 more hours of DVR programming.

Still missed recording the actual last hand.

2 Americans and 1 German left in the 1 million buy in, 10 million first place prize tournament. 27 paid 1 million to play..

This tournament provides a charity donation through the buy in, it’s benefit is to provide clean drinking water throughout the world and had raised awareness of clean drinking water to certain countries having issues. First tournament was in 2012 and the winner received over 18 million 1st place prize. Nice to see the poker world contribute to a worthy charity.

It’s called “The Big One for One Drop” and was started by Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberte.
