Icon20 Can Anybody Shed Some Light/Information on This Timepiece ???

All the information I have on this timepiece is that my Grandfather purchased in during WW2: -

Any Information would be greatly appreciated, apart from the fact that it is a Geneva, naturally.

TIA.

It's a watch of it's time, which I know isn't saying very much. It was during the introduction of the Incabloc shock absorber, and the movement is very likely a unitas or early ETA.

JLC made some watches like this one, as did manufactures like IWC. I would suggest taking it to a watchmaker and taking a close look at the movement within as there could be some signage in there.

All in all a good looking timepiece, and what an heirloom!

I'm looking forward to restoring my grandad's old Tissots and a few 36,600vph movements from God only knows where!
