Distefano Strap

This 233 is my everyday and I love it. Going away next week, so looking for waterproof strap instead of the OEM rubber. Found Distefano online and on another forum who came highly recommended. I chose the Bruno diver which can be worn in water with the advice only to rinse in plain water afterwards. I will take the rubber just in case, as I don’t fancy having a soggy strap everyday.
Anyway a quick review after a few dry days:

Strap is thick (I went 5mm, not sure if I should have gone for the thinner one), colour is stunning and really suits them watch. I went for sown-in buckle as it’s quicker to change and the natural finish perfectly matches the case.

I’m wearing it slightly looser as the leather has yet to soften and on the first day when I wore it tighter it marked my wrist. In 4 days it has definitely loosened and I can see it being a perfect fit.

Cost was €100 inc shipping.

Nice looking strap Edward
Mind you the 233 can make any strap look good. I mink oil the straps I make to waterproof them also makes them wonderfully supple as well.

Brilliant. Thanks Ian. It is a superb watch. The complications are pretty cool and nicely put together.

Thanks Nick. Does it dry out very quickly, or does it not get wet through? I only ask as I will wear the watch all day and in the evening after being in and out of pool all day (hopefully!).

Thank you my friend. One final question, do they soften and stretch? I’m wearing loose, but it does seem to be getting looser?

Simona's straps are my favorites.

Here's two, the first is several years old and the second bought about a month ago:

had a couple different Brunos in the past. love the strap, but would never wear it to swim. it gets a mildewy smell after a few times in the water.
