Hiya Guys!!

How is everyone? We officially moved to the UK in May, but I've been back in the states sorting out the house by myself for the last month. But.....I leave tomorrow night! Yippie I'm going home!! I can hardly wait to get back to normal. The last months have been so tough. Maybe I can get back to quasi normal on the forums. Watches have been the furthest thing from my mind lately.
Cheers,
Bruce

Thanks guys. It'll be good to be around more. Tam and Josh are just great. Josh has been developing alot in the past couplo of months being around all the family. Can't wait to see the lil guy! I don't have any pics on this puter and I've packed the other laptop already, but I'll post some when I get home. Padi, tell JJ there'll be plenty of ops for sheep pics too

I sure hope it cools off a bit. It's been 36-37 here lately and I've got a/c. We have no a/c in England!! Great talking to you last night Daren and thanks for calling. I told Tam I was thinking I would phone you from the airport, but you beat me to it!

Well, just a few more things left to do then I catch the shuttle to the airport about 5pm to start the long journey. BWI to Heathrow, then Heathrow Express to Paddington, then a 3 hour train ride to Plymouth where I think I arrive at 3pm on Wed. I hate travelling anymore, but this is going home!
Cheers,
Bruce

Thanks John! Padi Tam says that although it's been warm down south the heat wave hasn't really hit there yet. I'm hoping it stays further north. Actually I'm hoping for rain for a change

Tam just said wed in callington - temps should be between 16-20 C and rainy/showery...yippie!!!

Great to hear from you, Bruce. Glad to know you've pretty much gotten settled in your new digs. We're looking forward to having you back on full time soon. Best of luck in the new locale.

And Adrian's right, you're starting to sound like a native Cornishman.

LOL guys Well I got my wish. Wasn't quite cold, but it was a bit cooler yesterday. Bloody humid though. I made it back in one piece and Joshy couldn't stop saying mummy....daddy! Warmed my heart.

Tam is driving her mum up to Bristol airport today to pick up an old friend of her mum's. Apparently it's raining like hell. It'll get down here eventually. Me 'n Josh have already walked down to the Post Office to pick up some milk (yest guys POs aren't just for mail here). We stopped at the playground and Josh got a swing. Then we came home and played some footie in the field behind the house (it's a proper football pitch too), until he decided he wanted milk.

So, now we're back at the house....all the windows open and it's nice, at least until it starts raining and it will eventually. Got me a Ginster's pastie thawing out for lunch too...yum yum!

Well, I think it'll be a long time, if ever, before I'm a proper Englishman. I'll always be American, but I'm doing my best to learn. Sure is good to be home though, and home is England now!!
Cheers,
Bruce

Yes you will have to start learning to drive on the right side of the road Bruce.

It's not really driving on the left that bothers me Padi, it's roads like this

Well that and not understanding what many of the road signs mean

Exactly Daren!! That's the problem I drove into Callington and back today with no problem and not too much sweating, lol. I'm just going to have to make myself do it to get over my anxiety.

Just drive like Kevin Klein in 'A Fish Called Wanda' and get a big Lincoln and drive like you're in the USA.

I sorta did John Tam bought this big Toyota Lucida people mover. The thing seats 10! Pretty good driving vehicle for an old one, and it still looks pretty good too. For some reason I go faster when I'm anxious
