Incoming Bambino

My Orient Bambino 2nd generation came in this morning. It's the best looking one yet, in my humble judgement, and has the upgraded movement that hacks and can be hand-wound. Those are some nice features, to be sure, but they don't make the 1st generation Bambinos any less desirable.

It's kind of hard to believe that Orient can make such a beautiful watch for so little. I'm going to be wearing this one and its brothers quite a lot, I can already tell.

Very nice! I have several Orients. Have you seen the Bambino gen. 5 yet? I think this should be moved to the Seiko forum.

I haven't seen the Gen 5s, yet, but I'll definitely check them out.

Nice one Grady but I’m disappointed.

I though you bought a Fiat 500.

Very nice Grady.

Never seen an Orient in person. Will have to somehow fix that.

Honestly, they look a lot better in person.

I’ve had more positive comments on this cream colored Bambino than all of my Rolexes.
Like the blued hands. And the cream face looks vintage.

I just found the Version 5 on the internet. It took some looking, but here it is

https://www.orientwatchusa.com/produ...-ra-ac0003s10a

It's a nice looking watch, especially the numeral font and the hands.

The longer hands really help with the proportionality.

I think I have enough 40mm dress watches, though.

I'm more inclined toward the smaller sizes.
