Wacky weather

Nine days ago, December 19, we got hit with about 1 1/2 ft of snow and a high of 25F. Yesterday the temperature hit 58F. Today we have wind gusts over 50 mph and 61F forecast.

When I first moved to Hamilton somebody told me "If you don't like the weather here, stick around for 10 minutes!"

Crazy stuff. The first of last week we had ice on the roads and driving was a bitch. We had wind chill temps of -0. Yesterday the temp was 65 no snow yet

Luckily with 12 degrees the last couple of days all that lovely snow is melting... lets hope we can keep it away for another week at least!

I live near Hamilton but it is the one in Scotland and we think that we are unique in getting four seasons in one day. We are lucky in that we don`t get the extreme snowfall which you have experienced. It`s cold and frosty here just now - about 0 c. Fell to about -4 c when I was out last night. Quiet night in tonight cuddling a radiator. (and a beer).
