Tudor submariner

I have a tudor submariner that I received as a gift in 1990. I got a rolex sub in 2004 and recently decided to send the tudor to rolex for a service. It looks absolutely brand new... I'd like to mix the tudor in once in a while, but am hesitant to wear it due to the scratch-happy crystal. Can I have a (reliable and waterproof) aftermarket synthetic sapphire crystal put in this particular model watch at a local watchmaker? I really would like a flat sapphire crystal... no cyclops. Thanks for any information you may be able to provide.

Try Sending Steve Mulholland a pm. He is a great guy! I think he can help you. I have a Tudor Sub from 1990 also. It is on my wrist 24/7. How about a pic

The scratches are easily removed from any acrylic crystal just use polywatch or autosolve car metal polish. And doubt if a Sapphire crystal will fit a 90s sub, your best bet is to keep it as original as possible they are now going up in value.
