Pretty picture

Last week I ran across a post by Jocke, who takes some wonderful pictures, and I thought, hey, why can't I do that? Or at least, do better than I've done in the past. I built my own lightbox with a white background, but the Daytona just didn't pop and I had issues getting the color balance right, yada, boo hoo, sometimes I really struggle with my camera, which is smarter than me and constantly reminds me of that fact. Kind of like my wife. LOL, but I digress.

Anyway... I tossed aside the lightbox, put my lights behind umbrellas and built a black background from my one clean t-shirt. I thought this was a pretty good picture, so it's here to share.

Nikon D60 with Sigma 105mm and two lamps at 3200K. F/14 at 1/8 sec 100 ISO, no photoshopping, just a crop and resize for TRF.

Nice shot. My pictures are pretty mediocre. I take most of them on the run while traveling or catching a few minutes of downtime.....that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it.
