Do you love your Speedy Tuesday 1

Hey Guys—

ST1 is on my radar! Wondering what your experience has been with it and if you love it as a daily wearer?

Really looking forward to your feedback!

It’s a quietly cool piece.

It’s one of my fave LEs, def like it better than the ST2 or hodinkee LE. One of only two watches for which I’ve ever paid over MSRP. However it just doesn’t seem to get a lot of wrist time but maybe that’s just my collection. Was actually thinking about moving it along but then I look it at and I think, “damn that is one cool watch!”

I own the ST2, but have spent some time with the ST1. It's a terrific watch. As we see with Speedmasters, as time goes by, models like the ST1 that are somewhat limited get harder to find mint with all the packaging. The ads you see around today that make you think it'll be there in mint condition whenever you are ready to buy one won't be there forever, so I encourage you to go for it if you really want it.

I had one but got rid of it as I was doing some swapping. It’s probably the watch i miss the most. I didn’t wear it a ton but I enjoyed playing around with it and all the strap swaps i did with it. Bought about reacquiring one but I’m getting a Tokyo Speedy which should check that box....

Loved the look and accuracy of mine. However I decided to sell it. I found the crown a bit too small to comfortably wind (not that I have a problem winding a watch daily). In the winter months it was causing my thumb to crack and sometimes bleed. I'm 65, so perhaps my old hide is just not cut out for it. Bought a Rolex Sub no date and not missing the winding ritual.

No, you are right. Hard to wind, it’s weird

I have had mine since August of 2017, and I love it. It is easily my favorite modern Speedmaster and in my opinion the best alternate (non-traditional) Speedmaster dial they have ever done.

As for a daily wearer...I don't know. I have many other watches and the ST gets worn a few days at a time at most. The biggest knock for me is the lack of bracelet. I suppose I could get a bracelet for it, but I probably would still prefer to only pull the ST out on weekends as a change of pace.
