Nowhere on the website does AP state that it's a ladies.
I agree with other comments that for Date Justs and Day Dates - many with large wrists still consider 36mm to be an appropriate size.

The 15450 definitely wears larger due to the integrated bracelet.

At the end of the day - it all comes down to preference! I can say for a fact that up close or far away, the 15450 is a very appropriate size for my 6.3 in. wrist.

15450 < 15300 to my opinion. 15450 really wear like a boy size watch for a 6.5inch wrist.

6.5 flattish wrist for me. Wears between a 36mm DJ and a 5 digit sub, just like it should. Here’s my 15450

I think the 15450 just look perfect on you. Personally I don’t we should call this reference as lady watch at all!

And my wrist size is 6.75” and 36mm size is perfect.

This is my 15450 for reference. Totally agree it shouldn’t be considered a ladies watch. Ultimately if it fits well, it works!

Nowhere on the website does AP state that it's a ladies.
If you filter by ladies' watches, it appears. 39mm+ watches show up under that filter only if they have diamonds, gold, or are otherwise "girly" (like the sonnerie, apparently), but the 37mm regular steel 15450 is also there. The new 38mm steel chronographs are there as well.

That said, some of the 15450s also appear under the men's filter, where 37mm is the smallest size. White-dial steel 15450s are apparently manly enough to make the cut, but blue is only a women's watch.

So, yes, the website does indicates that the 15450 is a ladies' watch -- but also that it's sometimes a men's watch (and sometimes not). More generally, AP seems to officially consider 37mm to be the smallest possible men's watch.

Please don't tell all the buyers of vintage manual wind Paul Newman Daytona's that they just spent more than a quarter of a million dollars on a ladies watch. They have fragile enough egos as it is.

OH NO!! What should I do now? Do you think the AP boutique would take it back because they sold me a ladies watch??

Nobody is saying the 15450 is a lady's watch. Its watch for guys with lady size wrists (<6.25) The 15202/15300/15400/500 are to big so the 15450 is perfect for guys with smaller wrists

i have small wrists and the 15450 is most likely my next watch. don't really care what people say about it being a ladies watch or whatever

if you have smaller wrists it will look better than a 41mm AP and doesn't really matter what everyone else says as long as you like it. i personally know there's no way i can wear a 41 so for me it's a simple decision lol

Actually, some people are saying that. Some are even saying that AP has marketed it as a Ladies watch in at least one catalog, though it isn’t currently marketed that way in the last couple catalogs I have.

AP site has the white dial is listed as men’s & the other dial colours as ladies.
So figure that out.

Men’s/ladies I don’t give a hoot. I love the watch, fits my small wrist perfectly.
Absolutely can’t wait to get my hands on the 38mm ROC.
Who knows, there may even be a 15415 or whatever (38mm RO) next year.

The 38mm chrono (26315ST) looks awesome. I don't they they're available yet though? Haven't seen any pics of folks having them.

Nope, although some blogs got to take hands-on pics when they were announced. I'm keen to see these. I admit that I would have preferred 39mm, but 38mm might be close enough. I feel like I can wear a 41mm RO on my 6.75" wrists, but it's not as elegant as I'd like. However, there's a fine line between "elegant" and "a bit girly," so I'd need to see them in person.

What if they list the 38mm chronos as a ladies watch?? Because us manly men and our egos surely can’t handle that.

As several earlier posts note, they already list it as a ladies' watch. And as a men's watch.

Who cares if the 37mm 15450 is called lady's watch. If the 41mm is men, then what's the 47mm Panerai for? With Panerai, 44-47mm is men and 40-42 is lady's, does it make 41mm RO a lady's watch now? It's all about the fitment on each person's wrist. I see quite a few 37mm wear perfect on members wrists here.

Does anyone know how the bracelet on the 36mm compares to the 37mm? The 36mm bracelet looks wider and more similar to the 39mm, but I may be wrong.

The bracelet has A lot of gravitas so it feels like a substantial watch at 37mm. It’s one of those that should be tried on if possible. Here is mine with 4 digit GMT.

I tried the grey dial 15450 and found it much harder to read than either the blue or white dialled versions. Perhaps that accounts for the easier availability. The 37mm size is very nice on a smaller wrist. I think the 41mm models look too large and ill-proportioned.
