Same here. My Rolex AD adjusted mine with no issues. Pins have been around forever and any experienced watch repair person can adjust it. I would never attempt it.

For those who afraid of sizing your owned bracelet, I'm not sure why.....
It's not rocket science..... Beside what feel more worse someone scratch it or you scratch it.....?? Unless you have bad eyes and not so steady hands, then I would not recommend of doing it yourself...... Quote:
When you work on it make sure you have patience & in a good mood....... Again, It a great hobby for watch lover and you should never be stress out about it.... Just in case some people ask me what kind of masking tape I recommend.... https://www.amazon.com/Patco-5560-Re.../dp/B07BXBHRXP For the case I use Patco 5560/CLR336 5560 Removable Protective Film Tape: 3" x 36 yd, Clear....^^^.... This protective film is exactly like what you peeled off the surface of your brand new cell phone, tablet, lap top, navigation device except it's thicker, very useful for other thing & can be reuse.... The best part is don't leave any sticky residue..... https://www.amazon.com/ELEGOO-Polyim...ds=Kapton+tape For the bracelet I use Kapton tape....^^^.... It easy to work on the bracelet since it transparent, thin and conformable enabling masking of uneven surface.... It also don't leave any sticky residue....

I decided to join you but I've bought my tools on a budget
Do you think they will do the job or should I stick with my AD? Sent from my G8141 using Tapatalk |

I just got an Aquanaut 5167/1A and live an hour from the closest AD (not where watch was purchased). I took SL BRABUS' advice and bit the bullet buying the Bergeon 6819 for $200 USD. I've taken out pins and tubes on other watches in the past and I will say flat out that this tool makes the job so quick and so easy. Steady pressure will have the pin out quickly and painlessly. I understand those who prefer leaving it to their ADs, but for those of us in smaller towns or more DIY-inclined, this tool is amazing.

I also live a good couple of hours from my nearest AD (Geneva salon). I’m well used to doing these things to my Rolex(s), but am slightly nervous when it comes to Nautilus (Nautili?)....
