I agree on the recent rise but Daytona’s being sold over 20k is no new climb. We are going on three years of 17k + for these. Many ads are no longer taking names for the steel ceramic Daytonas.

A PM 5711 is not the same price as a SS 5711.

Not that I can see. SS is cheaper.

More people can afford SS, so there is greater demand. I think we’re seeing this play out in real time.

That said, just because fewer can afford PM by no means is it inferior to SS. PM will always be supreme to SS. I’m glad to sell anyone who disagrees 904L stainless steel for greater than $1,340/oz (current spot price of gold)
