Wallet Recommendations?
Looking down at my wallet today -- I realized how beat up and threadbare it is after 8 years of service. I think it's time for a new one.
Can anyone here recommend a good, durable wallet? I'm not looking to break the bank ~ looking to spend around $200 with some room to stretch. Thanks!! |

Get on eBay and buy a Prada. They really nail the leather and are in budget. Buy from a seller w great feedback and you’ll be fine. Pay attention to the dimensions so you get the correct size.

Perhaps consider one with RFID protection for security.

There was a long wallet thread on here a while back that had some brands I was unfamiliar with, but i can't remember the price points; I think many were above $200.
I have a Smythson that I bought on sale couple years that wasn't much more than that, I don't think. |

Ditch the name brands and go with one from a quality independent shop.

Might be a little under your budget but a real quality wallet. https://saddlebackleather.com/leather-wallets

I have a Burberry that still looks brand new after three years. They are pricy.

My wife finally beat me down. I liked my ratty wallet, after sitting on it for 8-9 years it was comfortable.....like an old pair of shoes.
When I finally gave in and bought a new one there was a little Paul on my shoulder saying "buy a Tumi, you should buy a Tumi" Who am I to ignore such great advice? |

I'm happy to purchase a Rolex, but since I don't like any wallet thicker than one of those ultra slim cardholders that hold 6 cards and three or four bills in the center, I have no need to spend over €100 on a thick wallet I just don't enjoy carrying. I always go front pants pocket or jacket pocket, and anything thicker than 1/3 of an inch I won't use. I bought a €12 flintronic ultra slim wallet off eBay and I'm perfectly fine with that. Before that I actually used a plastic metro card holder (gifted to me) from a city in Switzerland for about 5 years. It fit about 4 cards and three bills at best. Now if Frank Clegg would make me an ultra slim in green harness belting leather, I would pay the money.

I was looking at Mont Blanc wallets this weekend and most (many?) of their latest offerings now include RFID protection. Ironically, only last week I received a new, enhanced drivers license and it came with a sleeve to protect its encryption. I would definitely get a wallet that offers it. |

I’ve had this LV for several years. Still is in great shape and it pretty thin.

Agree 100%. Maybe price is under your budget but has the quality many times the price. All of their products do, I have a brief case, small wallet, passport wallet. Other items are on my list. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
