Wow, I'm surprised we haven't broke the back with this thread yet...

It seems AF is still keeping the balls rolling in LA despite the past and the current market conditions.

Say what you want about the guy but he's got a way to lube up the people around him and get the job done at the end of the day.

How do you define trusted seller?

Will he keep the money if you wire him for a watch? Most likely not.

Will you get the exact watch you buy from him? Most likely.

I am sure that there are enough people that will vouch for him. He seems to still be doing a lot of business.

Will he be in business in 5-10 years down the line? I don't know, from what I have seen he blows money left and right. His spending figures never added up to me. I would want to buy from a dealer I know will be there in 5+ years should there ever be an issue with the watch I bought. I.e. turning out to have aftermarket parts etc.

I could care less about his promiscuous past, what really put me off was the time he sold a clearly franken/fake AP 15400 for $62,500.

No idea but I would never ever deal with them when there are so many other top notch dealers out there (and on here).

What happened in the episode with Jordan.

Why did he keep the fake watch.

Jordan implied he would use it to get his money back. Anthony thought about that a bit and figured that meant he'd pass it off as real to get whole again by screwing more people.

Someone should tell Anthony that you're not allowed to just keep someone else's possession, even if that person tried to sell it to you.

Interesting thought. I’m curious what would be expected from TPG (or any seller for that matter) 5 years after a sale?

Well 5 years was a stretch ;-)

But I would definitely want to be sure the dealer is going to be around 1-2 years later

is he the unluckiest man on Earth? Victim of 2 'burglaries?' Conveniently 'losing' $2M worth of watches? In this case 3rd times NOT the charm, but strikeout (hopefully.)

He will go to jail; and then he will go away.

He is saying “I sold other peoples watches and used the proceeds to finance my life style”. That’s is!

This aged well if i do say so myself. He was displaying exactly where this would lead in bright lights and still, people shoveled money into this guy. The people around him had to understand what’s going on. They know the margins and how many watches were being sold. You don’t have to be a genius to figure out that something’s not adding up.

Last night I went down to the Executive Lounge at the Marriott im staying at and there is this guy watching the game on TV. Im like, 'thats the YouTube watch guy' and grab my waters, head back to my room. Now mind you I have ZERO idea of the drama that has been going on with him and what does YouTube suggest when I fire up my computer......his confession video.
